On November 14th, the Ministry of Education held a press conference to introduce the relevant situation of the 2024 World Conference on the Development of Vocational and Technical Education. Peng Binbai, Director of the Department of Vocational Education and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education, introduced at the meeting that currently, more than 200 vocational colleges in 27 provinces across the country have cooperated with 70 countries and regions to establish more than 400 educational institutions and projects. Vocational education has become a driving force for China's international education cooperation.

　　彭斌柏介绍，下一步将重点开展四个方面的工作：

　　一是深入推动教育对外开放，统筹“引进来”和“走出去”，做好做实“鲁班工坊”等职业教育国际合作项目，不断提升我国教育的国际影响力、竞争力和话语权。

　　二是做好顶层设计。按照“抓住两头、理顺中间”的思路，以东盟、中亚为先行区，带动非洲等“一带一路”国家和地区，分区域、分国别编制我国职业院校海外合作办学清单，实现有序布局、有序发展。

　　三是制定相关标准。出台职业教育海外办学条件标准、专业标准、人才培养标准、职业资格认证标准等，进而有效推广中国教育、中国观念和中国价值。

　　四是推动提质升级。规范现有合作项目，加强各类国际合作办学品牌项目的融通，丰富专业设置，增加中国文化、中医药、中国经济等专业，创造条件与海外高水平大学合作举办职业教育。通过推动职业教育境外办学提质升级，进而提升服务国际产能合作水平。
